Holifield Janich Rachel Ferrera, PLLC Announces New Partner, Tess J. Ferrera, And Firm Name Change
December 12, 2017 – We are pleased to announce, Tess J. Ferrera has joined our firm, which will be renamed Holifield Janich Rachal Ferrera, PLLC. Tess J. Ferrera has more than 20 years of experience counseling and litigating matters involving fiduciary obligations under ERISA. Before entering private practice, Ms. Ferrera was a trial lawyer for the division at the Department of Labor (DOL) that litigates matters under ERISA.
Ms. Ferrera provides advice and handles litigation under ERISA for a diverse group of clients, including financial institutions, insurance companies, investment advisers, plan fiduciaries and service providers. Her experience with the DOL provides her with a unique understanding of the legal landscape, in this highly specialized field.
Ms. Ferrera has an extensive track record defending individual fiduciaries and institutions in DOL investigations. She is also well-versed in handling the complicated regulatory environment of multiple employer welfare arrangements (MEWAs) sponsored by a variety of corporate entities.
